A museum dedicated to the Ducasse rituelle, Saint-Georges and the dragon in the heart of the historic city of Mons. Discover the Ducasse rituelle of Mons all year round!
Using objects from the collections of the City of Mons museums and technological devices, the space invites you to discover the Ducasse de Mons, recognized by UNESCO in 2005. A discovery between reality and imagination! The space showcases this exceptional heritage from different angles: historical, anthropological, scientific, artistic, secular or religious. From the originality of the Ducasse de Mons to the legend of Saint George, the museum strives to understand and promote the different aspects of this universal, centuries-old history. Visitors are invited to explore and interpret this exceptional intangible heritage. The various exhibition areas are structured around a main theme: Saint Georges and the Dragon, between imagination and reality. Educational activities, continuing education initiatives, publications and off-site exhibitions are also developed.

Adaptation for the visually impaired Visits to the museum are open to the visually impaired who wish to enjoy a cultural experience adapted to their disability. Thanks to a close collaboration with Les Amis des Aveugles, specific adaptations and museum guides will be produced in Braille.
At the Musée du Doudou, discover the Doudou's key objects: the new golden spear, teeth, medallions, dragons and the seal of Sainte Waudru.
For your convenience, the last visitor can enter the Musée du Doudou at 5.15pm. The visit lasts an average of 1 hour.
